I started going to college to be a alcohol and drug counselor and I didn't think that I was going to be able to do it, almost a year later I'm about to graduate and do what I have a passion for helping my community. When I see myself going out into the community helping the community out and seeing that there going through a hard time and I’m not there to judge them makes my day go by alot easier. I’ve had a few road blocks since I’ started going to school but I got through them and I’m almost done with my passion. I have been studying so hard to get to were I want to be and it makes me and my family feel so good and especially my kids and it shows them that if daddy can do it then they can get through school and move on to there passion. I’ve learned how to listen and not just let what comes to mind fall out my mouth. I really hope that one day I’ll get that call or email or text saying due to the fact that you listed to me I’m no longer an addict, and that feeling will make my day just knowing that I was able to help just one person get over there addiction.
