I am a single mom of 2 girls whom I love very much. They are the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about when I go to sleep. Both girls play sports so I am usually on the road to one event or another. I do love it. I get to meet people from all around our area and just be outside. I do love to meet new and interesting people. I enjoy listening stories of the elderly from when they were growing up. Reading is one thing that keeps me sane. I read Stephen King, John Grisham, and James Patterson. I like other authors, but those three are my favorite. When I read, I block out the world, I "am" in the book when I read. I take care of my 89 year old grandmother so reading helps! So does music. I believe that you have to treat others with respect to get anywhere in this world. I do have a motto that I go by, which is "be nice". It is so simple and easy, but to many people can't do it. I try to instill in my girls that be nice to other people, no matter how much you despise them, will make you a better person in the end. So far, they treat everyone the same. My oldest brother once told me that you should never judge someone by the way they dress or act because you never know what type of homelife they come from. I try to live that way. I absolutely love going to games. Especially kids games. It is so much fun to watch. I also enjoy watching high school and college games also. I am learning rules to soccer, which I think is becoming my favorite sport, love softball, baseball, and football. I have an interest in so many things it is hard to put down. I am a huge "question asker". If I don't know something, I always ask and keep asking until I completely understand it. You should always be learning something.
