I will now proceed to rant about this site a bit...

Now... let me say a few things about the nationalistic attitude that many of the members have on here. My grandfather was a Corpsman that served in the battles of Iwo Jima and Saipan, he was a witness to the flag raising on Mt. Suribachi and performed triage as well as carried plasma to wounded soldiers on the field, he is a FUCKING hero!!! My father's only sibling retired a Colonel in the U.S. Army and had a MASSIVE security clearance at the Pentagon, my father has a heart defect that precluded him for entrance into the armed forces, he volunteered for Vietnam, but was turned away because of his heart!!! My ancestors settled this country and my roots in this country go back to the early 1700's!!!!! My forefathers were fucking PIONEERS!!!!!

Now... I was raised with nationalist rhetoric and soaked it up like a sponge! That said, I have done quite a bit of research into our countries military history... AND I WAS SHOCKED to say the least! This country is an IMPERIALISTIC country and our armed forces have been used to dominate indigenous peoples and steal their resources ever since the beginning. Do you know what the origins are of people putting the yellow ribbon out for the troops? It is a throwback to the EVIL "Indian Wars" where the soldiers would leave their yellow bandanna with their loved one or family for good luck and to keep them safe while they were performing a GENOCIDE on the native peoples!!! We are still fucking KILLING INDIANS!!!!

Iraq is a fucking joke and anyone who thinks that that is a "good war" obviously has done NO research into the matter, and I would gather that they know VERY LITTLE of world affairs and regional tensions! So, yes, I support the troops (I support poor people who have no future and decided to enter the Army for 3 squares a day, or wanted to start a family on the government's tab!) I support the poor people who flock to the recruitment offices in hopes of a steady job!!!!! Although, units like KILLO company that have members of their unit that are MURDEROUS thugs, (the grisly rape/murders in Haditha and the murder of journalist Jose Couso) get NO love from me!!!!!! Members who have a problem with people that don't blindly support the Violent, Greedy aims of this reckless administration can FUCK OFF for all I care! So, yes, I support MOST of the troops, but this war is the worst foreign policy mistake this country has EVER BEEN INVOLVED IN, and if you don't see that... YOU ARE FUCKING IGNORANT!!!!!

What is it with all of the fascination with the "Dark" side? It seems that this site attracts a strange segment of the population... the "Dark" side is the weak side... you've been LIED to!!!!!! So I don't know how you people get off thinking that you are all witches and lookin' all gothed out and shit! I have no real respect for people who consider themselves Pagan, I will tolerate you and not judge, but forgive me if I chuckle under my breath at your WICKEDNESS!!!!! That said, my mother was a witch as I was growing up, so, it's not like I don't have love for witches and pagans, because I do... I am just messin' around! lol!!!! And, to all of the Juggalos and Juggalettes, you are all good people... the salt of the earth... and I do not want to be an ass, but ICP was not a very good band and there is very little good music coming from their labelmates, I am fucking puzzled how people are obsessed over that band, but I suspect it has a lot to do with an IDENTITY and BELONGING...

I love Jazz, especially the hard stuff like Ornette Coleman and Mingus. I'm also a huge Miles Davis fan as well. Grover Washington jr., Wes Montgomery, Jimmy Smith, any type of fusion especially Al Dimeola. I also love classical, but prefer Schoenberg, R. Strauss, Berg and Stravinsky to Beethoven, Bach, or Mozart.

I love funk music and am a massive Gap band fan! Love all funk from the Ohio Players to the Bar-Kays. 70's and 80's R and B is my true musical love though! I also enjoy progressive bands like The Mars Volta, Bloc Party, Coheed and Cambria, Hawthorne Heights, Ringside, and even HelloGoodbeye. Love old metal and dig Lamb of God, Mudvayne and System of a Down.

I'm a wedding DJ, so I also can appreciate country music and bluegrass. To round it out I have a soft spot for electronic music and am a huge fan of Jean Michele Jarre, Tangerine Dream, and Brian Eno. Americana, Roots music, World music, meditation music, and zydeco are genres I enjoy as well. Was that enough for ya?
