I AM PHOENIX!
UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX
COON-ASS: A good ol' boy in Cajun Country
Second definition: Only people born and raised in South Louisiana
and of French Canadian decent
(the original Acadians) are called this
Generally considered a vulgar and derogatory term
and most South Louisiana residents of French decent
do not use this term while others consider it
a compliment or badge of honor
Working-class Cajuns tend to regard the word
"coonass" as a badge of ethnic pride
whereas middle- and upper-class Cajuns are more likely to
regard the term as insulting or degrading
even when used by fellow Cajuns in reference to themselves
I AM PROUD TO BE A COON-ASS!!
My name is Steve Bouton
I am Cajun French
and I am born of genuine and
old-fashioned values and charms
Born and raised in a very small town
of Lydia(South Central Louisiana)
Approx. 5 miles off the coast
I am a father of two children I recently was awarded full custody of. They are the epicenter of my world. I am one semester away from my associate degree in criminal justice, military vet, work security at Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino, and a CASA (court appointed special advocate) volunteer for abused and neglected children. Message me if you want to know more. I am extremely friendly :)
