Stage One "White Noise"
Sudden intense betrayal constitutes unfortunate
Inability to see the flame come apart
Burning on the other side of the heart
It is so bleak & so terribly dark
Stirring life inside a deciduous park
Select emotions try to cease flowing
Dangerous feelings if no light is showing
They battle in static, stubborn & slowing
Faith is unhinging, experienced & knowing
Leaving behind a shock, rippling & numbing
Barriers shift as new things are coming
Numb is peaceful, although away peace is running
Molten rock pain rising from depths, quite stunning
Stage Two "Unhinged"
What a site to see; monkeys going crazy
Confusingly lying to themselves & can't see
Frightening creatures lacking consistancy
Know what they want, then change their minds
Allowing assumptions in between lines
Contributing idiocy unto their peers
Building useless walls around all their fears
Disgraceful these morons w/ their hateful tears
Such disappointment to be in the gene pool
Adding pain to more pain right along w/ the fools
Resentment follows after hope is unhinged
Shame falls on those monkeys as they all cringe
Then lash out blindly to get hostile revenge
Allowing faith to become a bitter regret
Thrown from one side of the spectrum into a new set
Miserable mammal proves to be a dumb ape
To showcase weakness & highlight its pain
Visibly vulnerable to predators, now too late
Little beasts cackling, talking, taking turns
Animals who refuse to give in return
Sad creatures desiring their own love to burn
How long will the cycle continue to spin
Until they pair up and work together again?
How long until ridding themselves of repugnant sin?
Ridiculous lies dying while some are chosen
Unhinged from insanity & chaos a bit
Adore one another while the rest throw their fits
How long must a monkey be victimized
By its own kind until luck begins to dim the red in its eyes?
Hate always lives on while love is demised
Damned monkeys are becoming more demonized
As the one singled out feels demoralized.
How long after detached from faith, hope, & love
Until unhinged from surrounding evil thereof?
Is there a shortcut to more quickly rise above?
Monkey forced to watch greed & hopelessness
Until it's no longer shocking, causing restlessness
No wonder little monkey is no angel itself
Changing colors & emotions until there's hardly one left
Crazy beasts wanting to be profoundly felt
Potential for good, but thrown back in routine
Spitting & fighting due to a nature that's mean
Cruelty results in dispair, love usually in hate
Sad world to be forced into, hope always comes late
Monkeys pick each other off, becoming irate
Each savage monster tries to change its ill fate
It's one thing to observe, another to relate
How long until more try to get a clean slate?
How many chose malice, how many are separate?
How many more tries to find a worthy mate?
When can the monkey find peace without revenge?
When will the rest of them become unhinged--
Depart from a petty state of mind?
How long until monkey can leave guilt behind?
Stage Three "Blank Canvas"
After enduring brief insanity
Clinging to fears bleeding anomosity
After opening up rather foolishly
Inviting in weakness & insecurity
After myriad mistakes and mutual regret
Feeling that knife being carved into flesh
After pure intentions are caught by venemous insects
Good causes leading to bad effects
After the blaming & self-loathing
Time comes to put on some new clothing
After dusting off fear, deflate the bloating
Continual pursuit of the prizes afloating
After so much is felt, compassion proves stronger
Admirable as regret matters no longer
After approaching thoughtful and carefree
Conflicts in the future aren't so threatening
Before such amazement should be found
Careful healing behinds to spread around
Before the first break of laughter will sound
Deranged monkeys forgiven while surpressing frowns
Before complete blankness results in new courage
Enough strength is needed to keep the past locked in storage
Before feeling love returned with no effort or edge
Returning to leap again from that fateful ledge
Perhaps the blanks canvas will eventually be
Painted w/ bright colors, drawn on beautifully
Scars finally faded by true intimacy
Shining much needed light on obscurity
