OK, congree is about to go into recess, and the Republican party is running commercials, about how bad the health care bill is and that it shouldn't be passed.  I think these people who are in-line with the republicans are either gaining from the staus quo or just to ignorant to understand what is really goin on.  Let me make a couple of points, and please pass this on to anyone you know who just doesn't get this. 

First, i run a small business we used to pay 100% of our employees health insurance, but in the past 5 years we have seen a 40% increase in the cost, so we had to start making employees contribute to there coverage, that essantially equells a paycut.  So what the goverment is trying to do is allow small business to ban together to get better group rates.  (what is so wrong with that).  Second, when an employee leaves or gets fired they get COBRA, a family plan here is $1800.00 per month how is anyone who is unemployed supposed to be able to come up with $1800 a month.  (again they are trying to fix this)  Third, right now the cost of coverage is the cost, the only way to lower cost is to take stuff away from the plan, the goverment wants to include an option where the goverment can provide a cost for insurance also, this will give the private companies competition, and force them to cut costs and profits.(they are adimotly against this)  Finally, there are millions of uninsured people out there for whatever reason, don't they have the right to see a dr if needed.  Why do the well off get to live and the rest get to die, this is not fair.

So please talk to people lets change the stuts quo doing anything is better than nothing and if even one person is covered who wasn't before than no matter what the cost this is a victory.  Thank You for reading sorry about the spelling.  Agaim please pass this on.

OK, I have been meaning to write this for a long time.  Why do people think that because they were a flag shirt, have a flag sticker, or "terrorism huunting permit" or some other stupid thing like that, that that makes them a Patriot.  I remeber after 9-11 i pulled up to my mothers house and she asked me why i didnt have a flag on my car.  I said "are you kidding me, you protested the vietnam war even though your brother was there, when i told you i was joining the Army you said i was stupid, you never vote, but now because you have a flag and i don't your a Patriot".  This is the stupid stuff that pisses me off.  I live in NY were we don't have alot of recent ex millitary, but i see tons of Terorism hunting permits, flags ect.  I know for a fact that these people would never answer the call to defend there country.  Its the same in the south all these Rednecks, talk about Patriotism, and owning guns, and free speach, but when push comes to shove they stay home and watch it unfold on TV and complain.  So I say to all the people who talk about free speach, or the fact that we have a Democrat president or the right to own a god damm rocket launcher.  Shut the hell up.  If you care go fight for these freedoms, dont fly a flag to make up for your lack of actions, dont put a Terorist hunting permit on your car or truck unless you have actually hunted them.  Now to all the active duty millitary, millitary spouses, and veterans, you know what i am talking about.

OK, so yesterday I posted a MUMM about President Obama's first 100 days.  I foud out there are alot of Bush supporters here, so I just want to make a point.  I serveved 4 years in the Army (not gonna say when)  I support the Commander In Cheif no matter who it is.  I have to say though Bush was the worst President in American history, Jimmy Carter may be second worse, although I think he does alot of good now.  Now as a person I like Bush, but his policies, or lets say Carl Rove's and Dick Chenney's policies have cused this country harm from wich it may never recover.  Bush went to war with a country who could not have attacked us, and left an unfinished war with a country who supported thos who did.  Then allied with Pakistan, who is more of a threat than any other country on the planet, and has Nuclear weapons.  Then he csused the housing crisis by having the feds lower interes rates right up till nov 2004 (mid term elections) now look at the mess.  Now you Republicans are saying the econmy is Obama's fault, you cant be serios.  Then they cut taxes to spur growth, cutting business taxes will not cause them to hire, creating work for business to do will.  You dont hire because you have extra money, that savings goes to paying down debt, or to the bottom line, it does not get used to hire (you are a moron if you think it does)  Ok, thats enough for now.  Just my thoughts
