Hmmm..About Me. I used to live in big Cities, now I'm back to the small town scene. Very strange place indeed. Definitely not Mayberry. Although there are several Barney Fifes roaming around. I try to avoid any types of negativity at all times. Example: if the neighbors are outside my door gossiping, I'll just crank up some Ravi Shankar, light some incense and block it out. I spend a time playing my guitar (Acoustic), listening to music, practicing meditation and reading. I have a 9 month old Yorkie pup who keeps me on my toes. I love to treasure hunt and have a passion for antique and costume jewelry. I adore animals, so I choose not to eat them. I prefer Patchouli Oil apposed to designer perfume. I'm not real materialistic, but do like to surround myself with beautiful things. Besides lots of plants, flowers and candles I enjoy Japanese, Mid-Eastern, Greek items, Gods and Goddess statues, you name it. Although some may call it junk (because I seldom ever buy anything new). Who cares? Everything is eventually recycled anyway. Right? Including all of us, (in one way or another :-) I ran across this site by accident, so have been spending more time on my computer then I normally do. I’m not quite as computer Savvy’ as most of you, so please bare with me. My computer is a bit of an antique itself! Thanks for reading "About Me". Looking forward to making many new friends. Here's a few top favorites, what I listen to the most and not in any particular any order: Areosmith-Fav' Songs: Pink, Seasons of Whither, Lord of the Thighs...love all of them, but maybe a couple and I mean just a COUPLE. (If I could have two Crushes on FuBar, Steve Tyler would be one of them ooooo la la!) Ozzy-Fav' Songs: No More Tears, Crazy Train, Mama' I'm Comin' Home. Beatles-Songs: All of them! Solo Beatle G. Harrison - Songs: All of them! A couple Fav's = Beware of Darkness, Isn't it a Pity, Let it Down, Stuck Inside a Cloud, Rising Sun...Love them all!! Solo J. Lennon: Fav' Songs-All of them! Solo McCartney: Fav' Songs - Maybe I'm Amazed, My Love, (Pretty much all his solo stuff too.) (Love you too Ringo, but you just didn’t quite make my list, sorry, BUT I really like your vocals on Octopus Garden) Jewel-Songs: Everything she writes is incredible. 3 or 4 fav's I guess would be - Well all of them. Love to play her music on my guitar, just wish I had her amazing voice so I could sing along…won’t even go there. (A couple of her songs do kinda freak me out though..little too dark for me) Sheryl Crow: - Fav' Songs: Maybe Angels, Strong Enough, Difficult Kind..Way too many to mention. Love that woman’s attitude! Sarah McClahlan - Fav' Songs: Angel, Full of Grace, I Love You James Blunt: Fav' Songs: Beautiful, Goodbye My Lover, Cry, Tears and Rain. Alanis Morissette: Fav' Songs: Every sing one! (Even the ~ not so friendly ones ~, sorry guys!) If I had to pick a few I really like the most = #1 would be, All I Really Want…Perfect, You Learn, Mary Jane, Not The Doctor and Head over Feet...Again, basically all of them. Other Bands: Most all the old 80's *Big Hair* Bands, Tesla, Judas Priest, BuckCherry, Pearl Jam, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Great White, Classic-Rod Stewart, Pretenders, Marc Bolin-T Rex, Classic-Elton John (not into his Disney stuff), Three Non-Blonds, REM, Alice Cooper, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Missing Persons. Dig the blues and some Rock-a Billy, Stray Cats, Stevie Ray Vaughn and on and on. I Don't like Rap! But, there are a couple Kid Rock songs I like, just cuz' he's so *cool*. I also like East-Indian Music...Sitars Rock! Ravi Shankar blows my mind (and my neighbors too!! hehe) Well, that was just touching the surface. Not enough time to go through all the music spinning around in my head. Enough spinning around in there as it is.
