In 2001 when 9-11 happened, I was pretty satisfied with my life. I lived in Virginia, owned my house, had a career as a sign maker, and was one of the top ten amateur skateboarders in hampton roads. The Sunday after 9-11 we took a road trip to skate a park in OceanCity but we got in a head on collision with a pickup pulling a horse trailer. It ended my life as I knew it. It put me in shock trauma for 13 days and the hospital for 73. I was in a coma for weeks. I had to learn everything again. How to walk, how to write, how to dress. Everything. I have recovered amazingly but I have a traumatic brain injury so I cannot keep a normal job. I am an artist and a bowler and I love to shoot pool. I am single with no kids. I look forward to meeting new people here.
