Get Your Sexy Name

Some quick facts right off the bat:
1. I am NOT here to perv on pictures; if I want to look at gratuitous nudity, internet porn exists for a reason.
2. My relationship status says, "Single" now; right after the breakup I put it as "Complicated" because, well, it was--I was suddenly alone after nearly 5 years, and remain good friends with my ex. I changed it to "Single" yesterday (8/5/15) because I'm sick of pining and hurting and I just want to start over. Seriously.
3. If I have you as a Friend or especially if you're a Family Member, I take that shit seriously; I actually like TALKING with my friends and family--you know, the kind of thing one DOES with friends and/or family--and if you're on either list and all I hear from you is requests for bling, bombs or rates, you will soon be on neither list. Again, seriously.
4. I no longer have a Facebook, and the reason is that I feel as though it should be named 'Fakebook' or 'Fuckbook'. Nearly everyone I knew on there was either trying to suck me into their drama or describe their most recent fight with their significant others. I wasn't on FB for that reason, and I'm not here for that, either.
5. Lastly, I try to be a good friend, so I expect the same of others. As I said, I take friends very seriously. That being said, I think I deserve the same consideration. I have a ton of shit going on in my life these days, so if I can take the time to sb or message you, at least take 10 seconds out of your life to reply--even if it's only a word or two.

If there's anything you'd like to know, ask away. If what you ask is intelligent and coherent, I will definitely answer. Actually, if you post something idiotic, I'll still answer...but I doubt you will like my responses.

Interests
Movies, XBox 360, Netflix, karaoke, writing, books, hiking, conversation, walking, 420, poetry, theater, UFC, all things paranormal, 80's metal, pro wrestling (I put that instead of just 'WWE' or 'TNA', because I honestly enjoy the smaller promotions more).
Music
Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Dio, Slayer, old Metallica, Megadeth, Poison, Johnny Cash, Alice Cooper, Dragonforce, Slipknot, Tom Waits, H.I.M., Elvis Costello, Nightwish, Epica, and about a million others...
Movies
I love all of Kevin Smith's films (yes, including 'Jersey Girl'), Reservoir Dogs, I love LOVE old-school 80's B-Movie horror flicks, Raging Bull and pretty much everything Scorsese ever did...Suicide Kings (Johnny Galecki was brilliant in that), From Dusk 'Til Dawn ("Come on, Sex Machine!"), True Romance and Fargo and the old standbys from Universal--Chaney, Karloff and Lugosi in their creepy primes)...The Devil's Rejects (I want to be Captain Spaulding when I grow up!)...Tommy and Rocky Horror and Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair....Cheech and Chong, Napolean Dynamite and This Is the End ("Textbook twattage," McBride is a genius)...'Lethal Weapon' franchise and Rocky (Balboa) and The Terminator (just the first one--sorry). Leaving out a boatload of others, but hit me with something.
Idols
Film Actor: Al Pacino (particularly 'Serpico' and 'Dog Day'-era)

Film Director: a tie between Scorsese and Hitchcock.

Comedian: George Carlin, hands down.

Author: another tie--too close to call between Harlan Ellison (who wrote among countless other achievements, 25 episodes of the original 'Star Trek' series) and Clive Barker (creator/author of 'Candyman' and 'Hellraiser').

Wish I Looked Like: 'Great Escape' period Steve McQueen.

Singer, vocalist/front man: Freddie Mercury

Music/Rock: Motorhead--Lemmy God-Damned Kilmister, THAT's WHY!!

Music/Country: Really? Cash, period.

Music/Hip-Hop: DMX

Music/Old School: Love the mid-70's R&B Boom (Delfonics, Stylistics, Manhattans, Chi-Lites, ets.)

Music/Other: Yes, I love several Broadway soundtracks (most of all, 'Jekyll & Hyde' and 'Phantom', though I do enjoy performing 'Stars' from Les Miserables.

Music/Guitarist: Best I can do is a Top 5, random order:
Eric Clapton Stevie Ray Vaughn
Duane Eddy Yngwie Malmsteen
Randy Rhoades

Comic Book: a toss-up here; I like Wolverine for his unbreakable body and tracking ability--plus the fast-healing. However, the more simplistic part of me really likes The Punisher. Driven by vengeance, then finally achieving it, is driven by loneliness. And he's a total bad-ass while he's at it.

Fictional Character: James Bond. Yes, really. Go check out some of Ian Fleming's first run of 007 novels from the early 60's (the best, I think, being "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Thunderball"); Bond was way more cool in print.
Video Games
All 360: Burnout series, Dead Rising 2, NHL 15, WWE 2K15, NFS: Undercover, Plants vs. Zombies, Just Cause 2, all the Rainbow Six games and a buttload more...
