Interests
Reading, writing, drumming, cooking, fishing, gardening, building things, camping, raiding small European villages with my Viking brothers, filling holes in the yard my beagle has dug, annoying stinging insects, refuting rumors of my premature death.
Music
Just about everything, except for Rap and new R&B. Grew up on the Beatles, Kansas, Boston, Styx, Foreigner, and sadly Barry Manilow and Barbra Streisand. Now I'm into Muse, Paramore, Flyleaf, Incubus, Sting, Peter Gabriel. I just love music and find it an amazing way to escape for a while. Will be working in the industry soon so I'm learning a lot more about it every day!
Movies
Horror and mysteries are tops on the lists. Seven, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Key Largo (Bogie and Bacall at their best), Casablanca, The Silence of the Lambs, Full Metal Jacket, there are just too many. Love good laugh out loud comedies as well, The Heat, Identity Thief, Anchorman, Old School, One Crazy Summer, Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, just about anything by Kevin Smith, although Dogma was just brilliant. The Lord of the Rings Series, The Hobbit, Pirates of the Caribbean. Les Miserables with Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway was probably the pinnacle of how to adapt a theater musical to the big screen. Ask me, I've probably seen it or at least know about it.
Idols
Wow, really tough here. Idols: Well, I idolize Stewart Copeland and Neil Peart for their drumming skills. I idolize Mario Battali and Alton Brown for their cooking skills and food knowledge. I idolize Sean Connery, Humphrey Bogart, John Cusack, Kevin Smith, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp for their acting skills. I idolize Kate Beckinsale...well, just because. Come on, she's hot and tiny and British and looks really good in black vinyl, what more could you ask for? I idolize Albert Einstein for his intelligence and I idolize Ernest Hemingway for his ability to write. But most of all, I idolize my mother and father for all the shit they put up with and have gone through and still being there for me and my brother.

Love the Ratchet and Clank series from Sony, Leisure Suit Larry player since the beginning (actually beta tested for Sierra for a while), Final Fantasy, Medal of Honor, Kingdom Hearts.
