Either way, it doesn't seem plausible that half a cow could eat anything, let alone be alive for more than several minutes. And how do you determine when a bale of hay is half a bale of hay? Is there some standard for measuring bales of hay that is kept from the general public? And who is this general public? Is it different from the public? Is it some war veteran, "General Public"?
