Howdy all, I thought I'd mess things up and do one at night, after another exciting day at work.
Today our garage door arrived. It arrived faster than they said, so thats a good thing. The boy, Demetrius, was on break this week, so he got to watch them install it and the opener.
In midwinter it spun a roller, so the bottom panel was open. Which meant chasing cats out of there, untangling the dog, leaves and rain blowing in, and a grandma in law making snoty comments about it every time we talked to her. It was the middle of winter, very little we could do.
Work has been crazy. I need the cash, so I've been putting in long hours. I took a vacation day Friday, so I'll really have to work it to get overtime this week, because my son goes to the counselor tomorrow, and I have to take a half day.
He's sort of air headed, but the last few days has done an excellent job of helping around the house. I don't pay him an allowance, because I refuse to pay him for living with me. But if he helps out, I drop him a few sheckles for helping, and give him money if he's doing stuff with friends.
His play is next week, it's a musical. He didn't really want to be in it, but if he's in a play, he has to keep his grades up, so I forced him. He enjoys the theatre, and I think a musical will be a good experience for him. He has a small part, the keeper of the insane assylum in "Beauty and the Beast". I can't wait!
Sebastian is coming down Easter, I actually get him almost a week. I have to work the whole time, but I'll see him nights. I don't see him often, he lives with his mom. Luckily he has taken it to heart to question stupid things, so she's not liking it when she comes up with something stupid, and he calls bullshit on it. My work is done. But if it does make sense, I back her 100%.
Thats it for now, I'm sure I'll have a blog after we see the counselors tomorrow.
