Happy Hump Day
Climbed the week this far
and in the middle of the hump so:
It's all down hill from here!
I really need to start taking some
ginseng or some memory supplements
I dont know, It could be the old age ...
But confusion isn't no stranger in
about every day-to-day task I attempt,
I have a brief -but- yet still too often:
"momentary laps of reason"
Just so many things sometimes that
I get pulled in so many different
directions or an OCD moment
where I'm distracted ... umm, errr
By something shiny ... oowwah shiny!
lol, so I thought (after several distractions)
if my friends are also 'forgetful' or
Easily distracted like myself ...
How's your memory
Are you real good at
or on top of things?
Or like many, spread out
and just do things as they
come at you & at times
maybe forget something important?
Like going to the store for Something ...
something - you really needed,
then when you get there -
You forgot what it was
that you even went for?
Go to look for something
(say -In a room or a drawer)
looking around, bumping into
odds & ends as you look for
that item ... then you stop:
*think*
What was I in here for?
Any interesting or embarrassing
stories you want to share?
Today's greeting was actually inspired
from when I made the greeting.
I'd been up for a long while
without much sleep ...
Working and drinking as the days
pass by so quickly ...
When I finally crash out and sleep
Waking up the next day (I thought)
Jump on the computer I see it's
7:00 o'clock and I freak -
thinking I'm
late for work -
jump in the shower
darting out the door,
and jump into the car ...
I was a little
suspicious of a few things
but brushed them off as
me still being groggy from
having no coffee and not
fully awaken as yet - as I hurry.
Well, when I get to work,
the place is a mad house
(a restaurant) &
As I walk in,
seeing all the PM staff
is when it occurred to me ...
It's night!
I actually thought, SHIT ...
confusion still not over
I REALLY overslept,
I missed all morning!
As the first worker looks at me and said,
why are you BACK? -lol- it sunk in ...I'd went to work,
drank (heavy) after work ...
went home,
passed out -
around 5:30 pm
and just slept for
one and a half hours ...
DUH?
(yeah, it was the same day)
So, The next day
I made today "thinking it was" comment, because of what happen the day before!
*shakes head, head hanging -
as he exits towards the next day*
