Mixing things up a bit for
This balmy February day ...

Which brings me to my topic of discussion ...
Without being too nosey
(i.e. you don't have to tell me what you do)
I've change my job (career my happenstance)
a couple times in my life already ...
Actually on the average,
people will change careers
3 times in their lifetime.
I mention the other day I always
thought that I'd be 'Darien Steven's'
(in advertising or commercial artist)
Well, I ended up a restaurateur,
Owning a couple places and/or
corporate level management for
chain or national owned eateries.
Then I ended at a privately owned franchise Hotel ...
pretty much just doing what's needed of me to
even keep a job - meaning: Anything/Everything.
As well as a partner in a small painting business
(not the type of painting I envisioned myself doing)So with that ...
Are YOU where you thought you'd be by now?
IDK
Maybe your further along than you thought ...
or
It's just right at your finger tip just a little beyond your reach?
Took a detour? Planning to get where you want?
Gave up? (I'm afraid I might)
As most do - when you have children,
I found myself just working towards 'making it'
So to give my children the things they needed
or whatever it took for them to be better off than me.
I worked endlessly back when my two oldest were young.
Never home -
Weekends werent spent at home - e v e r ...
From that I got the bye-product ...
Them growing up - without seeing it.
So that what brought me to this stage.
I let 'career' go by me ...
And concentrated on 'being there' for my Lexy.
I might not have the kind of riches I once did ...
But now
I have the wealth beyond that -
the love and bond
and
KNOWING my little one ...
not missing out on the
little things like before!
I LOVE today's video,
I'd actually send it monthly -
Just so I can get that warm feeling
that it always gives me!

But don't worry I promise
your only get it about 4 times a year
