I learned an old saying that went something like this...

If there is ever something you truly love you must set it free

it will one day return if it was ment to be

but if it don't...

then track it down and kill it before it grows

for it could have never realy been true at all

and there for was never truly meant to be in the first place

you see...

May be harsh but it came from a harsh place and time

and some how has never left my mind

some times i wonder why and at others

i know exactly why

because that's the way love goes

it lives AND it dies

all to often in the blink of an eye.

Walking through the woods
in my Little red riding hood
on my way to your house
tip toeing quiet as a mouse

carrying with me a basket of goods
cheese,crackers,and a bottle of wine
hot dumplings,spread of thigh
for desert an even till
 of sweet cherry pie

tucked under arm
a worm,cozy blanket
just for you and I to lay
as we sit to enjoy
a fine dinner of
word and play

Now take care and read close
for now there is a picture on display
worth a thousand words written with much less
said to give you sweet dreams
when you find the time for rest
